IN BED vs ON BED
Both are correct but have
just slight differences. “In bed” means that you are not just on your bed but
also very much ready to sleep. It implies that you are under your bedcovers and
not just laid on.
“On bed” presupposes that
you are not ready to sleep but probably just relaxing on your bed.
It is also used to refer
to a bed as a piece of furniture.
Example:
Question: Where did you place your phone?
Answer: I think it should be on my bed or on the table.
